This is the big Southeast Asia portion of our trip.  We have tentatively alloted a four month block of time to explore this portion of the world to the fullest possible extent we can.

After we land in Bali, we plan on doing some "island hopping" through Indonesia, the Philippines, Brunei and Malaysia.

Then after a short stop in Singapore (the cleanest city on earth -- you can get arrested for spitting out your chewing gum, which could earn you some thrashings) it's off to Thailand, where we have heard you can live like a king or queen for $5.00 a day.  After securing the necessary visas for Cambodia and Vietnam we will explore those countries before heading into Hong Kong.

Then it's on to China, Laos and finally Myanmar, before heading back to Bangkok to "fly so high" to Kathmandu.
